Drug Uses
Paracetamol is used for treatment of mild to moderate pain due to headache, muscle aches, backache, joint pain, arthritis, the common cold, flu, toothache, teething pain and menstrual cramps. Paracetamol also decreases fever in adults and children. This drug is often used in patients who cannot take anti–inflammatory (e.g. due to stomach ulcer), as it is gentle on the stomach.
How Taken
Use Paracetamol exactly as ordered by your physician. Do not exceed the ordered dosage as it can be very dangerous and life threatening.
Additional Information
Paracetamol can cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Paracetamol is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Paracetamol with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. This pill should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
