Drug Uses
Nolvadex is used for curing of breast cancer that has spread to other sites in the body. It is also used along with other drugs to treat other types of breast cancer. It is used in women who are at high risk for breast cancer and in women with DCIS (after surgery and radiation) to decrease the risk of developing breast cancer. It can also be used for other condition as determined by your physician.
How Taken
Take Nolvadex with a glass of water as directed by your physician. Take Nolvadex with or without a food. Swallow this drug whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. Continue to use Nolvadex even if you feel well. Don't miss any dosages. Taking Nolvadex at the same time each day will help you to remember to take it.
Additional Information
Nolvadex may cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Nolvadex is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Nolvadex with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. This pill should be used only by the patient for whom it has been advised. Do not use less or more or use it more often than ordered by your physician.
